TCBY Expands in Qatar with Strategic Multi-Unit Franchise Deal with Sterling Restaurants

TCBY, one of the most iconic frozen yogurt brands in the U.S., has announced a new partnership with Sterling Restaurants to expand its presence in Qatar. The agreement marks a significant milestone in TCBY's international growth and introduces the brand to a new chapter in the Middle East. Sterling Restaurants, a subsidiary of the esteemed Al Muftah Group, has over 40 years of experience managing TCBY locations in Qatar and is deeply connected to the region's business community. The Al Muftah Group, ranked among the top 100 Arab family businesses by Forbes, has been a pillar of Qatar’s economy for more than 60 years.

This expansion agreement is a testament to the strong relationship between TCBY and the Al Muftah Group. The plan is to open more than 10 new TCBY locations across Qatar over the next five years, with the first stores set to open in high-profile mall locations in 2025. There's potential for future expansion, with the possibility of introducing TCBY’s sister brand, Mrs. Fields Cookies, into the market as well.
