Applegate Farms Pledges $10K to Climate Collaborative, Reinforcing Commitment to Climate Solutions

APPLEGATE®, a leading producer of natural and organic meat, announced a $10,000 donation to the Climate Collaborative in honor of Giving Tuesday. This contribution underscores the company’s dedication to advancing food-related climate solutions, including initiatives like regenerative agriculture and emissions reduction strategies.

The Climate Collaborative is a nonprofit organization uniting brands, retailers, distributors, and associations to accelerate meaningful climate action across the food industry. Since its inception, the organization has facilitated public climate commitments from over 760 companies.

By supporting Climate Collaborative, Applegate aims to inspire consumers to commit to climate-conscious practices and shop with purpose throughout the year, supporting partner brands like Califia Farms, Simpli, Clif Bar & Company, and Patagonia Provisions.

In addition to its financial support, Applegate is actively pursuing climate solutions through organic farming practices and a commitment to sourcing 100% of its beef hot dog production from regenerative agriculture by the end of 2025. This initiative aims to transition over 6 million acres of grassland to regenerative practices, promoting soil enrichment, water retention, and biodiversity.
