Alaska Airlines Introduces Enhanced West Coast Offerings Launching This Fall

Alaska Airlines Unveils New Premium Products to Enhance West Coast-Inspired Inflight Experience This Fall

Alaska Airlines is excited to introduce a range of new premium offerings aimed at enhancing the onboard experience and celebrating the West Coast lifestyle. Starting this fall, travelers can enjoy a variety of exclusive products, including Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher, a non-alcoholic sparkling water with a refreshing hoppy twist; Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini made with Stumptown Coffee Roasters for a smooth, indulgent inflight experience; a Filson blanket for First Class passengers to stay cozy in style; and Salt & Stone amenities to refresh and rejuvenate in both the Lounges and on board.

"Our guests seek unique, high-quality experiences, and these new products allow us to elevate their journey while bringing a piece of regional pride to each flight," said Todd Traynor-Corey, managing director of guest products at Alaska Airlines. "Partnering with iconic West Coast brands like Lagunitas, Filson, and Salt & Stone reflects our commitment to supporting local businesses and providing our guests with an exceptional premium experience."

A Refreshing Experience at 35,000 Feet

Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher: Alaska Airlines is proud to be the first major U.S. airline to offer Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher, a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage gaining popularity among craft beverage lovers and health-conscious travelers. Starting November 20, it will be complimentary for all First Class and Premium Class guests, and available for purchase in the Main Cabin. Brewed by the renowned Petaluma-based brewery, this refreshing sparkling water features a crisp, citrusy flavor with a hint of hops.

Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini: This ready-to-enjoy cocktail, crafted with smooth espresso from Portland's Stumptown Coffee Roasters, offers a sophisticated indulgence for travelers seeking a taste of luxury in the air.

"We're thrilled to partner with Alaska Airlines to offer their passengers a zingy, hoppy refreshment in the sky," said Hannah Dray, chief marketing officer at Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Elevated Comfort at 35,000 Feet

Alaska Airlines has also partnered with Filson, the iconic Pacific Northwest outdoor outfitter, to provide First Class guests with a new blanket. Crafted from soft, durable fabrics, the Filson-designed blanket promises top-tier comfort for passengers on long-haul flights.

“Filson is excited to collaborate with Alaska Airlines, a fellow Seattle-based company, to bring a piece of the outdoors to the skies. Our First Class blanket combines warmth and style to make your journey even more comfortable,” said Alex Carleton, chief creative officer at Filson.

Premium Self-Care for Travelers

To enhance the travel experience further, Alaska Airlines is introducing Salt & Stone amenities, including soap and lotion, in all Alaska Lounges and onboard restrooms. Known for their natural, high-performance ingredients, Salt & Stone’s refreshing citrus and grounding aromas provide a rejuvenating touch for passengers.

Available Onboard This Fall

The Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher and Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini will be available fleetwide starting November 20. The new First Class Filson blanket will be introduced on select long-haul and coast-to-coast flights in early December. Salt & Stone products will debut onboard in early 2025.
